Noelle shared with me your blog and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading it. I'm sure it was a trip with overwhelming emotions for everyone involved. (I got teary just reading about the goodbyes.) What a joy it must be to know that one 11-year-old has connected two cultures on opposite sides of the world through memories and hope. Marissa is a very lucky little girl to have two families who love her so dearly. Best wishes for a safe return home.

It appears that Marissa really bonded with her brother. He seems to be a good brother. I hope Marissa can learn some of the language and be able to write to him.
We'll be happy to see you at home very soon.

This trip has been such an amazing trip for all of you. How is Marissa doing? Has she been talking about her feelings? Please let her know that Serena is thinking about her.

When are you coming home Ken?

This is amazing. Thank you for these blogs. I can scarcely imagine what must go through your hearts (the Huffman trio, and Hoi and Ry) during a visit like this.

Ken you have to put tissue warnings on these posts. Maybe have a scale 1 to 5.
