Hey there -

Remember me? Sherri the SPR queen! (Please don't hit the delete key just yet!)

I am in the process of brushing up on my "tek" skills . I am not quite ready to link in just yet, as I am somewhat diffident with many.

I found you via linked in and just had to say Hi. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and catching up with you and the Huffman family.

You age well. I admire your honesty, openness, and candor. And of course your many talents.

I loved hearing about Chris and her blond experience. I relate to the retail therapy and so want to hear more about those Coach bags. :)

Mr. Ken, my piano friend, you and your family are amazing.

Thank you for sharing with one that cares!

So jealous. Our group was supposed to be seven to eight families. It was rediculously large with 80 people! Will not recommend them as so many promises broken. Glad to hear your trip is going well! Keep on blogging! We had lots of issues with Wi-Fi access but I know that will not be an issue for you Mr. Techie! Have a fabulous trip...

Thanks, Ken. I look forward to reading these always enjoyable updates. My latest flying pet peeve are people who opt to recline their seats - particularly on a short domestic flight - and plop their heads in my lap. My common strategy to counter this is two-fold: 1) I intentionally aim the nozzle of the air jet right at the top of their head. Hey, if they want to be in my space they get to enjoy my air. 2) I tap their seat incessantly in an intentionally varying pattern. I use my feet on the underside of their seat and drum my hands on the tray. In most situations they wise up and put their seats back up.

Safe travels!

There's a Star Trek TNG episode where Data intercepts a "Huffman Encoded" transmission from the Ferengi. Unfortunately the rest of the episode is crappy. I'll try to crop that section out once I rip season three and share it with the family. Unfortunately, the rest of the episode is not very good.

Hello Marissa! So nice to hear from you. I have really enjoyed reading all about your adventures, and wanted to let you know that we are all so proud of you. I don't know what Flat Stanley is, but I'm thinking it was nice that you brought him (it?) along for your sister. I love, love, love your new outfit (purple dress) and can't wait to see it in person. Hugs from all of us: Marsha, Scott, Serena, and Max
