My Immediate Family
We have three girls. I have adoption journals for Katie (December 1998) and Claire (March 2003). My wife is always behind the digital camera and abhors having her picture taken so I don’t have a web page for her.
For the past several years, I’ve written a generic year-end Christmas/Hanukkah/Ramadan/Kwanzaa/Solstice/Diwali/Festivus holiday letter to family and friends. Now total strangers can peruse them:

David Huffman
My late uncle, David Huffman, is famous (at least in geeky circles) for the Huffman Coding algorithm. Scientific American wrote an article on him years ago. While at the University of California at Santa Cruz, he wrote an autobiography for prospective college students. He won an IEEE medal in 1999 for his lifetime achievements. When he died, I wrote a short elegy.
Me
I have written a short biography with personal details and have a page with my favorite quotes. For a more timely status on what is going on in my life, have have a blog.
I have a professional résumé [PDF] in case you want to hire me; I even written award-winning code, but it is not indicative of my customary talents.
Here is my contact information. E-mail welcomed, but sorry, I won’t do your homework.
